Max Richter is an accomplished composer and recording artist trained at the University of Edinburgh, the Royal Academy of Music and with pioneering Italian composer Luciano Berio.
Upon completing his his studies he co-founded the ensemble Piano Circus with whom he recording five CD's of contemporary classical works for Decca.
A prolific collaborator, Max Richter has recorded with Future Sound Of London and Roni Size and produced the long-awaited second album by Vashti Bunyan as well as the debut of his FatCat label-mates The Twilight Sad.
Max has recorded three critically acclaimed albums and composed music for a series of feature films, including the Academy Award nominated 'Waltz With Bashir', as well as television programmes and advertisements.
