James Johnston rose to acclaim as the founder, front-man, songwriter and sole consistent member of London based alternative rockers Gallon Drunk. He has also played in Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, with whom he joined briefly in 1994, before serving as a full-time member from 2003 to 2008

 

Johnston is also a versatile composer who has contributed music and scores to a range of projects including feature films, television programs, advertisements and stage productions.
