Johann Johannsson
 

Jóhann Jóhannsson is a composer from Iceland with a background in a variety of different genres of music and an impressive series of works to his name.

As well as releasing anumber of critically acclaimed solo albums, Jóhannsson’s music has been featured in several films, including Wicker Park (dir. Paul McGuigan, 2004), Personal Effect (dir. David Hollander, 2009), Ashes and Snow (dir. Gregory Colbert, 2006), Opium, Diary of a Madwoman (dir. Janos Szasz, 2007) and Voleurs De Cheveaux (dir. Micha Wald, 2007).


Asside from his feature film scores, Jóhannsson has written music for many documentaries, short films, theatre productions, instillations and several contemporary dance works.
