The Organ were a five piece indie-rock band formed in Vancouver, Canada in 2001.

 

Their darkly melodic and often achingly emotive sound (influenced by music of the early eighties, while retaining a modern vitality and stunning originality), won them much critical acclaim and a devoted following over the course of their five year existence via a series of well received singles, EPs and one full length LP ‘Grab That Gun’.

 

The Organ disbanded in late 2006.
