Rothko is a band with a variable line up built around bass guitarist and composer Mark Beazley. Formed in 1997, Rothko's line up and sound has shifted and mutated over the years but Beazley's distinctive warm atmospheric bass guitar remains central to band's sound. Keen on collaborations, Beazley has teamed Rothko up with various artistist including Susumu Yokota, Caroline Ross of Delicate AWOL and JS Adams, AKA BLK w/BEAR. Mark Beazley also composes music for film and television.
