Rex The Dog is the seventies synth loving, electro producing, super intelligent mutant dog alias of  British DJ and remixer Jake Williams, who under his first production name, JX, had a string of big hits in the early 90's and under the Rex moniker makes infectious and exuberant '80s-inspired electro house dance music, with his preferred choice of equipment being analogue synthesizers.

 

Rex has released a series of singles on the German label Kompakt, followed up by his long-awaited album 'The Rex The Dog Show' in 2008. Rex has also produced a number of high-profile remixes for the likes Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Soulwax, The Knife and many more.
