Max Richter is an accomplished composer and recording artist trained at the University of Edinburgh, the Royal Academy of Music and with pioneering Italian composer Luciano Berio.  

Upon completing his studies he co-founded the ensemble Piano Circus with whom he recording five CD's of contemporary classical works for Decca.

A prolific collaborator, Max Richter has recorded with, amongst others, Future Sound of London, Kelli Ali and Roni Size, as well as producing both the long-awaited second album by folk legend Vashti Bunyan and the debut album by The Twilight Sad.

Max has recorded a number of critically acclaimed albums and composed music for a series of feature films, including the Academy Award nominated 'Waltz With Bashir', as well as for television and commercial advertisements.
