Liars are an inventive and challenging three piece art-rock band. Signed to Mute Records, the band formed in New York at the turn of the century and are currently based in Berlin.
After the energy of their inital recordings caught the attention of the dance-punk scene in NY, the band, conscious of being pigeon holed,  progressed towards a more sonically textured and experimental sound. Their latter works are more atmospheric and thematically richer with advanced song stucture and unorthodox instrumentation.
