Liars are an inventive, challenging and experimental three piece art-rock band. Signed to Mute Records, the band formed in New York at the turn of the century and have since released a series of sonically progressive, thematically rich albums.

 

Based predominantly around core members Angus Andrew, Aaron Hempill and Julian Gross, Liars have come to be categorized by their dramatic stylistic shifts between albums, while retaining a consistent interest in rhythm and sound textures.
