Described by Breaksworld as being "One of the best Breakbeat artistes to emerge in recent years", Sparks is a prolific home recordist who relies more on inspiration and innovation  than he does on technology to produce his trademark sound of film score chords and blues influenced riffs over powerful basslines, beats and noises.

Besides producing and releasing his own solo material, Sparks has collaborated with Atomic Hooligan, has remixed for Shara Nelson and has composed music for use in advertisements, television and film.
