Grinderman is a garage rock band formed by Nick Cave and some of the Bad Seeds, namely Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos.

The band released their raw and energetic self-titled debut album in March 2007, a potent mix of elemental music rooted in blues, garage punk and no wave ‘Grinderman’ provided a new, more experimental outlet for Cave and co’s musical vision.

The second Grinderman album, the aptly titled 'Grinderman 2' was released in September 2010, adding to their previously established raw blusey garage sound with new psychedelic, experimental and hallucinatory approaches.
