Future Of The Left are a alternative rock supergroup born in 2005 out of the ashes of previous bands with ex-McClusky members Andrew 'Falco' Falkous and Jack Egglestone joining with Kelson Mathias, formerly of Jarcrew. Their sound is largely caustic rock, piercing riffs and obtuse lyricism, but also includes a more surprising keyboard aspect proving that it is possible to show musical growth and maturity whilst singing songs about sausages on sticks. The band released their debut 7" on Too Pure in January 2007 with two additional singles that year followed by their critcally acclaimed first album, 'Curses', in September.
