Originally formed as Dodobird in 2006 by multi-instrumentalist Meric Long, the band became The Dodos with the arrival of drummer Logan Kroeber. Known for using alternate instrumental approaches, particularly with a focus on subverting traditional drum set ups.

The band have released three albums to date, debut album ‘Beware of the Maniacs’ (2006), the critically acclaimed ‘Visiter’ (2008) and 2009’s ‘Time To Die’ which found the band exploring new ground with a more fleshed out sound.
